When a council needs its inclusion offer or its local offer to change, it usually brings in someone like you. You are in the room when the decision gets made, and you are the one asked "what should we actually do". This page is what you need to bring pop pop's products into that conversation, with nothing to sell and nothing to learn first.
What to bring to a council
For mainstream inclusion, Belong
Belong turns a council's ordinarily available provision into a directory teachers use, a whole-school SEND audit every school runs, and action plans the authority reads across all of them. It was built with Leeds and Calderdale inside the DfE Change Programme and it maps directly onto Experts at Hand.
The easiest thing you can do is this. Ask the council for its ordinarily available provision or graduated approach document, send it to us, and we will build a small working Belong from it within about a week. For the local offer, Placid
Placid is the SEND local offer platform, built with the parent carer forum and young people in weekly sessions, on LocalGov Drupal so the council owns it. One directory can power the SEND local offer, kinship, care leavers, early help and family hubs sites. If a council's local offer contract is ending or an inspection has found the information wanting, Placid is the answer and here is how a council buys it.
For a quick diagnosis, Bearings
A fixed-fee audit of the local offer against all 128 points of Chapter 4 of the Code of Practice, with a plain report and a roadmap. Useful when you need evidence in the first fortnight of an engagement. Bearings.
How we work with you
- You keep the relationship. We build and support the product; you stay the council's adviser.
- We will join a call with the council when it helps, on Teams, at 24 hours' notice.
- Everything we publish is yours to use. Pricing is public on G-Cloud. The procurement page has the documents a procurement team asks for.
